Friday, May 29

  • The Dropkick Murphys are performing from an empty Fenway Park, with Bruce Springsteen joining them remotely to do a double play — two songs —  one from each musical act. The livestream will be available on the Dropkick Murphy’s FacebookYouTubeTwitter and Twitch pages, and begins at 6:00 pm ET.
  • ARIA Award-winning rock band The Badloves will perform at Melbourne’s Festival Hall, marking the first time the iconic venue has hosted a full production live stream event. Lounge Room Live will present the virtual gig from 7:30 pm AEST (5:30 am ET).
  • Carlos Santana and Cindy Blackman Santana will release their version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “Imagine” as part of SongAid’s playlist to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts. Other artists participating include Tom Morello, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, The Silkroad Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma, and more. The streaming proceeds will benefit WhyHunger’s Rapid Response Fund, which is providing emergency support for those impacted by food insecurity during the pandemic.

 

Saturday, May 30

  • Led Zeppelin’s concert film Celebration Day, which chronicles the band’s December 2007 show at London’s O2 Arena in honor of Atlantic Records founder and friend Ahmet Ertegun, premieres at 3:00 pm ET on YouTube, and will be available for three days.
  • The Black Crowes and The Trews are kicking off Budweiser and Live Nation Canada’s new weekly at-home series Budweiser Stage at Home with a one-hour show. The series, which will go four weeks, kicks off at 8 pm ET and can be streamed globally on Live Nation’s new virtual music site, Live From Home.
  • David Guetta will do a livestream performance in New York benefiting the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Feeding America, the World Health Organization, and Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris — Hôpitaux de France. It will begin after the 7:00 pm ET clap front the city’s front-line workers, and can be streamed via his FacebookYouTubeTwitterTwitchTikTokInstagram and VK channels.
  • The Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers, Dave Matthews and many more will be performing for the Banding Together: A Concert for the Colorado Music Relief Fund. Proceeds will help Colorado music industry workers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The livestream begins at 8:00 pm ET and will be broadcast locally on CBS.

 

Monday, June 1

  • Katie Crutchfield is launching a new livestream series during which she will play Waxahatchee’s entire discography. The first show will feature the music of debut studio album American Weekend. The livestream will benefit indie promoters around the country; tickets are available here. The shows kick off at 9:00 pm ET Mondays at noonchorus.com, where the sets will also stream from.

  • Carnegie Hall, the iconic New York concert hall, is streaming a selection from its archive every Friday beginning at 3:00 am ET as part of Carnegie Hall Fridays. Streams will remain accessible for 72 hours. Visit carnegiehall.org for the updated schedule.
  • The Grateful Dead’s YouTube channel plays hosts every Friday to Shakedown Stream, a two-part live stream for fans of the long-running rock band. Archivist David Lemieux and historian Gary Lambert host a live Q&A, which is followed by a re-airing of a classic Dead show. Fridays at 8:00 pm ET.
  • Pink Floyd will stream a concert from the British rock band’s long history every Friday at 12:00 pm ET. You can watch on YouTube.

  • Pickathon, an annual music festival in Portland, is streaming #AConcertADay every day at 4 p.m. ET on its YouTube channel.
  • D‑Nice, the celebrity DJ/producer/rapper/photographer, hosts nightly “Club Quarantine” live streams on his Instagram. They’ve featured “guest appearances” by singers like John Legend and rappers Common and Big Daddy Kane.
  • Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are hosting virtual hip hop battles on Instagram Live called Verzuz. Erykah Badu and Jill Scott came together for three hours of magic in a recent one.

  • Death Cab for Cutie Lead vocalist and guitarist Ben Gibbard has started a sporadic ‘Live From Homestream, on YouTube and Facebook.
