A super cavalcade of music placements!
Whether you scored a placement last month or not, we just want to say a huge thanks to everyone out there who decided to give our world-first Deals Board a go. In fact, we’re flipping over the huge number of artists who submitted music and continue to do so even as we type…
Hey, if you didn’t succeed this time, please don’t worry, the good news is, we’re just getting started and there really are a lot more opportunities on the way.
Now please read on.
Deals, Deals and more Deals
By now many of you would have received notice that your tracks have been placed in one of the many deals for the month of May…that’s thousands of Songtradr artists’ songs! This is just one way we’ve committed to opening the world of licensing to as many artists as possible.
Songtradr celebrates art with ‘Genesis’
We have so much incredible talent on the site and more coming on every day so we have created the first of a video series to celebrate. Here’s the first aptly named anthology of art. Thanks to the artists who have made this possible!
Songtradr and Ardene get cozy
What do you get when you put awesome music artists with a hip, cool fashion retailer? A beeyootifull partnership! And to celebrate this happy union, we’ve cut together a fun vid to celebrate.
Songtradr in the UK
It’s official folks. Milamber Ventures will be toting the Songtradr flag for us from the land that brought us London Bridge, double decker buses and 007. Time to nick off to the pub for a pint with the mates to celebrate…
June’s College Radio Selects
We are delighted to announce the next 5 of our talented artists who have been chosen for promotion across 300+ college radio stations around the country through our partnership with one of America’s leading college radio promotion companies. Animal Kingdom Placement for ‘Chartreuse’
We’re not talking the French liqueur conceived by Carthusian Monks in 1737 (happy monks!), nor are we referring to the somewhere-between-yellow-and-green-color, which happens to be named after the Carthusian concoction…it’s all about the track, ‘Chartreuse’ by Sharkmuffin which has landed a placement on this TNT show.
‘Taking Pole Classes’ finds a home with Step Sisters
Ahhh, we love these evocative song titles, don’t we! Sikka Psy have this one in the bag (or up the pole) with their song, ‘Taking Pole Classes’ used on indie film, Step Sisters starring Megalyn Echikunwoke best known for CSI: Miami and The 4400.
Ardene
And as we have so much to celebrate this month, it only seems perfect that Ardene, the fashion retailer we love so much has selected White Mystery’s track, ‘Party’ for their Tropicool promo.
