QUOTE OF THE MONTH

“Even one voice can be heard loudly all over the world in this day and age.”
— Aung San Suu Kyi

Being heard is tough…
…so we’re striving to be better listeners, and find even more ways for our creators to get heard. This month, it’s all about that.

Let’s have a look at and listen to this month’s highlights!

Business Wire logo.

Songtradr now offers distro! It’s official folks. June saw the launch of our new distribution service which allows artists to get their music on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Deezer and more than 200 other outlets!

Sample Spotify profile.
Wanna learn more about our distro? Just a couple weeks in and over 3,000 of our hardworking creators have already taken advantage! Think your music should be on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Deezer and more than 200 other outlets? So do we. And best of all, if you’re a Pro User, it’s completely FREE with 100% of the royalties going to you!
TV Show, Power poster.
“Power” is back on Starz. The TV series about running nightclubs and drugs is co-executive produced by 50 Cent who also co-stars and Courtney Kemp Agboy (“The Good Wife”). Listen out for Courtney Cooper’s track, “Be Mine”.
Monster and Men film poster.

Sundance winner (Special Jury Prize), “Monsters and Men” revisits the issue of police power and the bystander who takes a stand after filming a confrontation which ends in death. One voice shouts…and is heard. Jason Cardinal takes a spot in the feature with his track, “In Your Blues”.

Girlfriend's Guide To Divorce TV Show poster.
Self-help guru, Abby McCarty is back on Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce”. Career in a ditch after announcing she’s separated from her husband compels Abby to turn to others for advice. Thanks to super duo, Sikora for their track, “Starstruck”.

Rihanna on Fenty poster.
What follows pop world stardom? Your own product line of course! Fenty Beauty by Rihanna brings us makeup for all ultra-glam, stunning occasions while DJ Miss Dippy brings the ultra-slammin’ track, “Boom Bang”.

Are We Good Parents poster.

The question, “Are We Good Parents?” can often be equated to or even answered by how well we really listen to our kids. Tracie Thoms and Sean Maguire question their daughter’s sexuality when she attends her first dance with (shock horror) a boy. Sollilaquists of Sound get us in the mood with their track, “Orlando”.

BET Awards poster.
Jordan Caygill’s dramatic track, “Overthrow” provides the soundtrack for the equally dramatic  “BET Awards”. Some of the industry’s finest were honored and awarded at this year’s event, including Sza, the Black Panther feature and Kendrick Lamar.

Woman singing into microphone passionately.
“Soul Clapp” by Kellee Maize has us clapping to the new campaign by bluetooth speakers giant, Ultimate Ears. Always open to improving our listening experience. Nice one UE!
Hip Hop group Epoch Failure singing.

Anthology 05 | Momentum. Our latest collection of some the best artists and their fabulous videos is here. Thanks to all the artists for being so talented and making awesome videos! Check it out.
