We’re excited to share our updated Content Management System that will allow you to spend more time on your music and less time processing music information.
The new experience features helpful data-input tools that will make adding your music a breeze, simplify your distribution process, and make submitting to sync deals easier than ever. Here are a few highlights:
Simplified upload process
It’s now much simpler to upload multiple songs at once, or one at a time. If you have additional files such as instrumentals, link them to existing songs with a few clicks. Your new files will load beneath the upload window where you can specify the type, e.g. if it’s a Main Mix, Instrumental, Cutdown, or Remix. From there, you can enter copyright settings and metadata on the song information pages.
Improved data-input and catalog-management tools
We’ve streamlined the song information process by creating a journey that guides you step-by-step through Recording, Copyright, Creative Metadata, Audio Files, Pricing and Approvals pages. Each of these segments includes easy-to-follow prompts for information, with helpful tooltips included throughout.
Once you've completed each of these sections, your music will be cleared and discoverable in our licensing marketplace.
Centralized account settings
Song file completion is faster than ever with our streamlined Ownership Settings Page. Now you can enter your artist, label, publisher and performance rights organization info once. Once this information has been completed, it’s easy to apply to your songs as they are uploaded, allowing easy customization of any details for any particular song.
